The Performance Engine

What this programme focuses on are 10 Components of Fitness. Let’s have a look.

  • Strength / Coordination / Muscular Endurance (Anaerobic Capacity)

  • Agility / Power / Cardiovascular Endurance (Aerobic Capacity)

  • Speed / Flexibility

  • Balance / Reaction Time

Therefore, the aim of The Performance Engine is to assess your areas of improvement, and to act on it. Whether you play a sport and would like to increase your agility, you aim for muscular hypertrophy and strength gains, you want to stop feeling out of breath as quickly during every day life or a combination of any of these components, this is perfect for you.

  • After booking, you’ll complete a short form about your health, goals, and injury history—this helps our Sports Therapists tailor your plan from the start.

Once we understand your goals and the fitness components to focus on, we’ll build your personalised training protocol, adapted to your available facilities—be it a gym, pool, park, or just bodyweight.

You’ll receive your plan promptly—no later than 11:00 PM the following day.

  • Your follow-up session, ideally two weeks after the first, gives time for meaningful progress.

We’ll review your feedback—how closely you followed your training protocol, how it impacted your performance, and how much you enjoyed it.

From there, we’ll assess whether it’s time to progress—looking at metrics like total weight lifted, reps, and sets. If appropriate, your Sports Therapist will adjust the plan accordingly.

Changes will be gradual—building performance takes time, and we prioritise steady, sustainable progress.

Your updated plan will be sent promptly—no later than 11:00 PM the following day.

  • At RehabStar, you can choose to pay monthly or in multi-month blocks—how many sessions you commit to is entirely up to you.

We recommend starting with one month, which includes your initial consultation, first training protocol, a follow-up session, and an updated plan. This gives you a clear sense of your progress and when you might feel ready to move on.

All follow-up appointments will follow the same structure as your second session.
